Dealership Maintenance/ Shop Laborer

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Monitor, and carry out preventive maintenance procedures for the dealership; inside and out. Making recommendations for repairs, changes, purchases, ect. to management.
-Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
-Perform minor fixes.
-Install appliances and equipment.
-Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, sweeping lot etc.
-Replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries.
-Changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed.
-Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
-Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear and tire changeovers.
-Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
-Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and customers requests.
-Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
-Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
-Cleaning the lot.

Responsibilities are but are not limited to:

-Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and customers requests.
-Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
-Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
-Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
-Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
-Managing inventory and supplies.
-Responding to customer and Service Department inquiries and fulfilling their requests.

Requirements:

Auto Glass Technician/ Auto Window Tinter

Auto Glass Technician: responsible for installing and repairing automotive glass.
Automotive Window Tinter: responsible for accurately and professionally measuring, cutting, and applying the correct window tinting to customer and company vehicles.
Auto Glass Technician Tasks:
• Install replacement glass in vehicles after removing damaged parts.
• Prepare and prime vehicle by removing debris from glass and window edges.
• Prepare installation by marking outlines or patterns and cutting glass.
• Inspect work to ensure the vehicle is delivered with a fit and finish equal or superior to the original factory fit and finish.
Auto Window Tinter Tasks:
• Measure, cut, and apply window tinting with accuracy and proper technique
• Smooth out imperfections
• May be required to do vehicle striping and/or other installations
• Other duties as required for operation of department
Requirements:
• Certification in automotive glass repair and installation
• Automotive tinting/pin striping experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean record
• Verifiable work history
• Basic computer proficiency

Lube Technician

 

Full Time: 35-40 hrs weekly.
Salary: To be negotiated.

We are looking for a highly-skilled Lube Technician to join our dynamic team!

To be successful as our Lube Technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Communicate effectively with customers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Lube Technician Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed vehicle service reports.
Replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries.
Changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed.
Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
Performing tire changeovers.
Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles using multi-point checklists.
Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.

Lube Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service.
